Violet Marie Chuites, 39, of Queen City, Missouri, passed away at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

The daughter of Jerry Phillip Chuites and Janet Sue (Ferdig) Shilling, she was born on February 11, 1985 in Memphis, Missouri. She attended Schuyler R-1 High School in Queen City, Missouri.

Violet is survived by her children, Blake Robertson of Glenwood, Missouri, Tia Chuites of Glenwood, Missouri and Kage Davidson of Fairfiled, Iowa; her mother, Janet Shilling and husband, Bill of Bloomfield, Iowa; brothers and sisters, Tabitha Shilling and George Groseclose of Glenwood, Missouri, Scooter Chuites and wife, Stacy of Glenwood, Missouri, Eugene Chuites and wife, Courtney of Queen City, Missouri, Billy Shilling and wife, Angela of Eldon, Iowa, Marvin Shilling of Ottumwa, Iowa, John Shilling and wife, Jaral of Bloomfield, Iowa and Angelica Sauce of Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Dagisteno Shilling of Bloomfield, Iowa, Zeke Shilling of Lone Tree, Iowa, Scooter Shilling of Glenwood, Missouri, Raelynn Chuites and Jaydon Chuites of Glenwood, Missouri, Colton Parmer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Rylie Thompson of Unionville, Missouri, Zander Chuites of Queen City, Missouri, Bethany White of Galt, Missouri, Andrew Kelso of Columbia, Missouri, Riva Harland of Bloomfield, Iowa, Lois Ivey of Ottumwa, Iowa, J.W. Rupe of Ottumwa, Iowa, Kaden Miller of Centerville, Iowa and Adella Shilling of Eldon, Iowa; other family members and many good friends.

Violet is preceded in death by her son in infancy, Blaze Eugene Chuites on February 14, 2001; her father Jerry Chuites; grandparents Melvin and Merna Ferdig and Mary Downing.

Violet was currently employed with Western's Smokehouse in Greentop, Missouri.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date as the body has been cremated. Memorials have been established for Violet's children.
