Timothy Eugene Crook, 60 of Downing, Missouri passed away at his home on Saturday, September 12, 2015.

The son of Claude Eugene and Nettie Elaine (Steel) Crook, he was born on March 13, 1955 in Bloomfield, Iowa. Tim was a graduate of the Schuyler County High School in Lancaster, Missouri.

Tim is survived by one brother, Terry Crook and wife, Sharon of Greentop, Missouri; 2 sisters, Suzanne Anderson and husband, Dennis of Downing, Missouri and Brenda Buckallew and husband, Jeff of Omaha, Nebraska; a special friend, Peggy Goodin of Downing, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Todd Anderson and wife, Arlene of Bondurant, Iowa, Elizabeth (Buckallew) Joekel and husband, Will of Omaha, Nebraska and Erik Buckallew of Omaha, Nebraska; great nephews, Rylie and Justin Anderson of Bondurant, Iowa; one great niece, Eleanor Joekel of Omaha, Nebraska; several cousins, other family members and many friends.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Eugene Crook on July 14, 2011 and Nettie Elaine (Arkie) Crook on May 3, 2006.

Tim was a member of the Downing Christian Church in Downing, Missouri.

Tim farmed with his father for many years and was an avid gardener and enjoyed planting flowers.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Downing Christian Church in Downing, Missouri with Larry Smith, Pastor of the Downing Christian Church officiating. Betty Anderson will serve as organist for the services. Special CD selections of "Amazing Grace" and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" will be performed. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial services from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the Downing Christian Church in Downing, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Barker Cemetery. Burial will be in the Barker Cemetery, north of Downing, Missouri following the memorial service and lunch at the Downing Christian Church.
