Susan A. Gingerich, daughter of Amos and Ella Gingerich passed away at home on June 7, 2012. She was born at Buchanan County, Iowa on September 23, 1952. On June 5, 1990, she was married to David Sommers in Cashton, WI. They lived matrimony 22 years and 2 days. Born to this union was one daughter, Savilla, still at home.
Those who mourn her death are her husband and daughter; 4 sisters; 5 brothers and many cousins and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; 1 brother; her father-in-law and 1 niece.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at the Noah Borntreger residence in Downing, Missouri. Officiating will be Noah A. Borntreger. Pallbearers will be Henry Miller, Jr., Dannie Hochstetter, Ira Borntreger, Jr. and Daniel Gingerich. Burial will be in the Downing Amish Cemetery north of Downing, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster and Downing, Missouri.
