Steven Michael Blankenship, 63, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2026, at the home of his daughter, Stacy, surrounded by his loving family.

Steven is survived by his daughter, Stacy Blankenship, and granddaughter, Kassidy Gibbs, both of St. Joseph, Missouri; sisters, Ruth Ann Rogers of Charlotte, North Carolina, Nona Bridgman of Kirksville, Missouri, and Linda Thomson of Hamilton, Missouri; along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Blankenship, Sammy, Jackie and Junior Wayne Weaver; sisters, Mary Alice Farley and Rosemary Flynn.
