Stephen Francis Blessing, infant son of Tyson Roy and Sandra Jean (Durand) Blessing of Baring, Missouri passed away at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri on April 17, 2013.

Stephen Francis Blessing is survived by his parents, Tyson and Sandra Blessing of Baring, Missouri; one brother, Dalton Durand of Baring, Missouri; grandparents, Frank and Donna Durand of Denmark, Iowa, Theresa and David Fleming of Tuscumbia, Missouri and Steve and Linda Blessing of Downing, Missouri; great grandparents, Vivian Hartley of Downing, Missouri and Junior and Marilyn Blessing of Downing, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Nicole Newton and husband, Luke of Yarmouth, Iowa, Kerri Durand of St. Louis, Missouri, Kristal Phillips and husband, Shawn of Memphis, Missouri, Ryan Fleming of Bloomfield, Iowa, Paige Fleming of Des Moines, Iowa, Christy Smyser and husband, Mark of Lancaster, Missouri, Wendy Williams and husband, Doug of Rock Island, Illinois, Rachel Dudley and husband, Stephen of Chicago, Illinois and Austin Slaughter and significant other, Melissa of Queen City, Missouri; cousins, Lily and Cole Newton, Brenna and Baileigh Phillips, Harley Fleming, Libbi and Lincoln Smyser, Ethan and Parker Williams and Dylan Slaughter; Godparents, Kerri Durand of St. Louis, Missouri and Eric Anders of Downing, Missouri and other family members.

His great grandfather, Harry Hartley, great grandparents, Paul and Mary Dorothy Krogmeier and Sylvester and Martha Durand precedes Stephen in death.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Downing Baptist Church in Downing, Missouri with David Barton, pastor of the Downing Baptist Church officiating. Pianist, Betty Duncan who will be playing "Jesus Loves Me", will provide music and a special CD musical selection of "Knowing What I Know About Heaven" will also be performed. Memorials have been established for the family. Burial will be in the Downing Cemetery in Downing, Missouri. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.
