Sharon Sue Laughlin

Sharon Sue Laughlin, 84, of rural Lancaster, Missouri joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

The daughter of Elmer T. Abercrombie Jr. and Dorothy Virginia (Shepard) Abercrombie, she was born on March 10, 1940 in El Dorado, Kansas.

On July 3, 1956 in Paris, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Jimmie Lee Laughlin and to this union two daughters were born, Connie and Christine.

Sharon is survived by two daughters, Connie Walsh and husband Marvin of rural Lancaster, Missouri and Christine Laughlin of rural Lancaster, Missouri; three grandchildren, Heather Hoffmeyer of rural Lancaster, Missouri, Holly Fischer and children Haylee Gordon, Peyton and Easton Fischer and Herschel Hoffmeyer and wife, Stephanie and children, Carter and Grace Hoffmeyer all of rural Lancaster, Missouri.

Sharon is preceded by her parents and husband, Jimmie Lee Laughlin on October 7, 2021.

Her family and friends were her biggest blessing in life. She will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held at a later date with Pastor Aaron Rodgerson of the Southside Baptist Church in Kirksville, Missouri officiating.
