Ruby Carol Jackson, 66 of Ottumwa, Iowa was called home on Friday, December 15, 2023 at her residence.
The daughter of Charles Leo and Minnie Grace (Black) Jackson, she was born on October 5, 1957 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was a graduate of Bevier High School in Bevier, Missouri.
Survivors include her daughter, Christina Anderson and husband, Danny of Ottumwa, Iowa and one son, Eric Jackson and wife, Amber of Wood Heights, Missouri; five grandchildren, Alexandra Koger and husband, Aaron of Kansas City, Missouri, Addison Jackson of Wood Heights, Missouri, Debra Jackson of Wood Heights, Missouri, Eva Anderson of Ottumwa, Iowa and Sadie Anderson of Ottumwa, Iowa; one great grandchild due in June, 2024; two brothers, Lavern Jackson of Lancaster, Missouri and Andy Jackson and wife, Claire of Lancaster, Missouri; two sisters, Margaret Garrett of Novinger, Missouri and Tracy Lyall of Owasso, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many good friends.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jasper Jackson and his wife, Joann and one brother-in-law, Roger Garrett.
Ruby attended the East End Pentecostal Church of God in Ottumwa, Iowa for as long as her health permitted. She was a care giver for many years for several Iowa counties.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Dave Parramore, Pastor of the East End Pentecostal Church of God in Ottumwa, Iowa officiating. Music will be special selections of "I Want To Stroll Over Heaven", "Dancing In The Sky" and "Outskirts of Heaven". Pallbearers will be Charles Jackson, Todd Jackson, Jessie Jackson, Nehemiah Cruz, Kyle Humphrey and Justin Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Lavern Jackson, Loyd Jackson, Darryl Humphrey, Doc Gordy, Andy Jackson and Chris Fowler. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Cancer Relief Fund. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Burial will be in the West Grove Cemetery in West Grove, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
