Ronald Allen Miller, 66 of Lancaster, Missouri formerly of Oskaloosa, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.
The son of Jimmy Allen and Mary Kathryn (Cook) Miller, he was born on May 16, 1959 in Burlington, Iowa. He was a 1977 graduate of the Schuyler R-I School in Lancaster, Missouri. On September 14, 1991, he was united in marriage to Kathy West at the home of her parents in rural Lancaster, Missouri.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Kathy Miller of Lancaster, Missouri; five children: Amerist Chambers and husband, Tony of Mitchellville, Iowa, Merranda Degeest and husband, Shawn of New Sharon, Iowa, Drew Miller and wife, Krystal of Enterprise, Kansas, Cale Brimer and wife, Lacy of Lancaster, Missouri and Amanda Lutz and husband, Anthony of Glenwood, Missouri; 15 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild due in July; brothers, Randy Miller and wife, Rhonda of Downing, Missouri, Steve Miller and wife, Chantal of Downing, Missouri; two sisters, Sharon Wheeler and significant other, Glen Gibson of Moulton, Iowa and Donna Klingler and husband, Keith of Hannibal, Missouri; one brother-in-law, John West and wife, Judy of Lancaster, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many good friends.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Wilma Kay Miller; parents in law, Bennett and Betty West and one brother-in-law and wife, Jim and Annette West.
Ronnie and Kathy were both members of the Lancaster Christian Church in Lancaster, Missouri.
Ronnie was employed as a metal fabricator with Kelderman Manufacturing in Oskaloosa, Iowa for many years. Not only was he a metal fabricator but he could do just about every job within the company. He was a valuable asset to the company.
Ronnie enjoyed hunting especially the spring turkey season with his brothers, Steve and Randy. He always looked forward to that season as much as any of the others!

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Pastor Aaron Gingerich of the Lancaster Christian Church officiating. Special musical selections of "Forever As Far As I Go" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain" will be performed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. Memorials have been established for the Coffey Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Burial will be in the Coffey Cemetery at a later date as the body has been cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
