Robin Lynne (Boyd) McCullar, 65 of Kirksville, Missouri passed away on August 15, 2026 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
The daughter of Robert Hoffman and Betty Jane (Grother) Boyd, she was born on December 13, 1960 in Leon, Iowa. She was a 1979 graduate of the Schuyler County High School in Lancaster, Missouri, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She then attended the Ozark Bible Institute from 1979 – 1981 receiving an Associate of Arts Degree in 1981. In 1982 she was a Christian Educator Director and a Minister of Music and from 1981 – 1993, she was a Supervisor and Principal of the Glenwood Christian School with seven high school graduates all gainfully employed and several 8th and 6th grade graduates. During the summers of the1980’s, she worked at the Schuyler County Historical Museum in Lancaster, Missouri. From 1997 to 2000, Robin worked at the Raggedy Ann and Andy Preschool in Kirksville, Missouri, from 2000-2003, she worked at the Kirksville Christian High School, from 2004-2009, she worked at the Kirksville Daycare and then from 2009-2015, she worked at Maritz Research until their closing.
On June 11, 1982, Robin was united in marriage to John William McCullar in Glenwood, Missouri at the Assembly of God Church and to this union one child was born, Roberta.
Robin is survived by her daughter, Roberta Ragland of Kirksville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Chelsea and Chloe Ragland, both of Kirksville, Missouri; numerous cousins including, Dixie Lestina, Lynn Boyd, Sharon Lanning, Mary Williams and Brendan Harris and family; one uncle, Reverend Billy Skipper; other family members, her church family and many good friends.
Robin is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and her husband, John William McCullar on May 8, 2025.
Robin was involved with the Glenwood Assembly of God full time from 1989 until the present in every aspect of the ministry from Kids Krusades to revivals to full-time ministry. Robin enjoyed sharing puppet ministry with children and making them laugh and she was a song and story writer including the song she wrote called, “Heaven Sweet Lamb” which was on the Kelly Sister’s Christmas Album. Robin enjoyed music from the Happy Goodman Family and Andre Crouch. She liked watching Little House on the Prairie and Murder She Wrote. Robin enjoyed being a grandma to her two granddaughters but was also a mother figure to many children within the church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Pastor Paul McDonald of Columbia, Missouri officiating and being assisted by Reverend Phil Rojak of Springfield, Missouri. A eulogy will be given by Kim Rojak. Roberta Ragland will give a Daughter’s Tribute and provide a song, “Soon and Very Soon.” She will be accompanied by Michael Holman. Pianist and soloist will be Rick and Ruth Addison playing a special medley of Happy Goodman songs. Pallbearers will be Lynn Boyd, Donald Hurley, John Minor, Joel Moreno, James Spurgeon and Erik Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Fowler, Charlie Thompson, Michael Douthart and Loren Weillbrenner. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the family with checks made payable to Roberta Ragland. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
