Robert Allen Ritzheimer

April 11, 1962 – October 3, 2021

Robert Allen Ritzheimer, 59 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at his home on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

The son of John Clayton and Diane (Gustafson) Ritzheimer, he was born on April 11, 1962 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Galesburg, Illinois.  He was a graduate of the Mendota High School in Mendota, Illinois.

In 1980, he was united in marriage to Jean Anne Sandvik and to this union six children were born, Josh, Zach, Molly, Zebulian, Nellie and Matilda.

Robert is survived by his children, Josh Ritzheimer of Lancaster, Missouri, Zach Ritzheimer and wife, Mariah of Richland, Missouri, Molly Wilson-Ritzheimer and husband, Stuart of Springfield, Missouri, Zebulian Ritzheimer and wife, Joanna of Buffalo, Missouri, Nellie Ritzheimer of Buffalo, Missouri and Matilda Ritzheimer of Springfield, Missouri; nine grandchildren and one sister, Susan Jones and her family of Illinois and other family members.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, John Clayton Ritzheimer.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.   Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Lancaster United Methodist Church or Faith United Methodist Church in Kirksville, Missouri.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
