Robert Joseph Dobson

Robert Joseph Dobson, 75 of Boonville, Missouri formerly of rural Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the Lakeview Health Care and Rehab in Boonville, Missouri.

The son of Robert Joseph and Mary Ellen (Garrett) Dobson, he was born on February 22, 1949 in Burlington, Iowa.

Robert is survived by his children; Richard Dobson of Redford, Michigan and Gwendolyn Dobson of Holly, Michigan; one stepdaughter, Kristi Mitouski of Waterford, Michigan; grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other family members.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Ellen Smith and one brother, Raymond James Dobson.

Following his graduation, Robert served in the United States Army from which he received an honorable discharge. Following his discharge, he was employed with the National Automatic Sprinkler Industry as a sprinkler fitter.

Robert's wishes were to be cremated, and no services planned. The burial will be at the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri at a later date.
