Robert Gerald Collis

August 17, 1946 – November 26, 2022

Robert Gerald Collis, 76 of rural Queen City, Missouri passed away at his home on Saturday, November 26, 2022.

The son of Raymond Walter and Goldie Marie (Boggs) Collis, he was born on August 17, 1946, in rural Queen City, Missouri.  On August 21, 1961, in Putnam County, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Mayme Faye Stewart and to this union five children were born, Debbie, Robert, Jessie, Marty and Lori.

Robert is survived by his children, Debbie Pantry and husband, Greg of Glenwood, Missouri, Robert Collis and wife, Joann of Queen City, Missouri, Jessie Collis and wife, Julie of Queen City, Missouri, Marty Collis and wife, Beth of Queen City, Missouri and Lori Clark and friend, Chad Penn of Kirksville, Missouri; 36 grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Bill McCoy of Kansas City, Missouri; nieces and nephews and other family members.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mayme; one grandson, Christopher Perryman; two brothers, Richard Eugene and William Walter Collis and two sisters, Annabelle McCoy and Barbara Capps and her husband, Eddie.

Robert worked for sawmills, logging with Chris Campbell and Missouri Mining.  He was an avid coyote hunter all his life.
