August 30, 1947 - May 18, 2013

Rebecca (Becky) Rose (Weldon) Cooper, 65, of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at her home on Saturday, May 18, 2013.

The daughter of Frederick Earl and Rosemary Jean (Shepherd) Weldon, she was born on August 30, 1947 in Kirksville, Missouri. She attended and graduated from the Burlington High School in Burlington, Iowa. On April 2, 1967 at the Lancaster Christian Church in Lancaster, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Larry Lee Cooper and to this union 3 sons were born, Brian, Scott and Justin.

Becky is survived by her husband, Larry of Lancaster, Missouri; 3 sons, Brian Cooper and wife, Karen of Clark, Missouri, Scott Cooper and wife, Donna of Brookfield, Missouri and Justin Cooper of Lancaster, Missouri; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 nieces, Kay Walker and husband, Eric of Dublin, Ohio and Crystal Weldon of Burlington, Iowa; uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives.

Becky is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Frederick Eugene Weldon.

Becky worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory in Kirksville, Missouri for a number of years and was later a transcriber for Maritz in Kirksville, Missouri.

Becky was a member of the Lancaster Christian Church in Lancaster, Missouri.

Becky's life was devoted to her family, as she was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother to all of her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her horses.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lancaster Christian Church in Lancaster, Missouri with Pastor Brent Fleshman assisted by Pastor Steve Altheide officiating. Music will be provided by organist, Maureen Watkins and soloist, Cole Tippett. Special musical selections will be "When We All Get To Heaven" and "In The Garden". Memorials have been established for the family. A private burial of the cremains will be held at a later date in the Arni Memorial Cemetery.
