Neva Norene (Feagins) Shively

Neva Norene (Feagins) Shively, 83 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, Missouri.
The daughter of Fred Sr. and Dorothy (Tallman) Feagins, she was born on December 21, 1933 in rural Savannah, Iowa. She was a graduate of the Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, Iowa. On May 17, 1952, she was united in marriage to Max Franklin Shively in Las Vegas, Nevada and to this union three children were born, Randy, Christy and Felicia.
Neva is survived by her husband, Max of Lancaster, Missouri; three children, Randy Shively and friend, Betty Morris of Lancaster, Missouri, Christy McGoldrick and husband, David Mark of Lancaster, Missouri and Felicia Shively of Schuyler County, Missouri; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and other family members.
Neva is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edward and Fred, Jr. Feagins and one sister, Gladys Younk.
Neva was a self taught cake decorator who made wedding, anniversary, birthday and all occasion cakes throughout the area. She loved tinkering in her flowers but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Sonny Smyser, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith officiating. Special CD selections of "Amazing Grace" and "Just As I Am" will be performed. Pallbearers will be Travis Roberts, Ryan Brown, Roger B. Wilson, Charles Ferdig, Hollie Anderson and Doug Bowling. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Nutrition Site or to the Alzheimer's Association.
