Nell Bernice (Fowler) Ford

March 4, 1918 - July 17, 2019

Nell Bernice Ford, daughter of Isacc and Alice (White) Fowler, was born March 4, 1918 in Omaha, Missouri and passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.

She was united in marriage to Luther Ford April 12, 1933 and to this union one daughter, Alice Jane was born.

Surviving are her daughter, Alice Jane Anderson and husband, Olin of Glenwood, Missouri; one granddaughter, Lynette Griswold and husband, Stephen of Liberty, Missouri; one grandson, Phillip Anderson and wife, Kristen of Troy, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Griswold, both of Liberty, Missouri, Mackenzie and Graeme Anderson of Troy, Missouri; one sister, Genevieve Rogers of Moberly, Missouri; one brother, Billy Fowler and wife, Jean of Unionville, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and friends; a special great niece, Rosemary Morris of Kirksville, Missouri, who called every day and visited often.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luther; three brothers, Jack, Joe Lloyd and an infant brother, Floyd Fowler and one sister, Patsy Wade.

Bernice was a homemaker and enjoyed her family.  She like working on the farm with Luther, yard work and having a large garden.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri with Pastor Barry Poyner officiating.    Memorials have been established for the Glenwood Cemetery.  Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
