Nathaniel Kirk Dierling, 18 of Queen City, Missouri passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri following a short illness.
The son of Kirk Olin and Ruby Joan (Yearns) Dierling, he was born on May 7, 2000 in Kirksville, Missouri. Nathaniel lived at home with his parents and sister, Rebecca Dierling.
Survivors include his parents, Kirk and Joan Dierling of Queen City, Missouri; one sister, Rebecca Dierling of Queen City, Missouri; grandparents, Nina & Clifford Yearns of Downing, Missouri, Mary Lee Dierling of Brashear, Missouri and Shirley Dierling of Franklin, Missouri; three uncles, Patrick Yearns and Kelly Yearns both of Downing, Missouri and Kent Dierling of LaBelle, Missouri; three aunts, Kim Hoover and husband, Kevin of Milan, Missouri, Marilyn Berry of Kirksville, Missouri and Lisa Peterson and husband, Kenny of New Boston, Missouri; several cousins and other family members.
Nathaniel is preceded in death by his grandfather, Olin Dierling and one uncle, Billy Joe Yearns on July 11, 2018.
Nathaniel was a special boy, who was loved by many, and will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Leon Buford, Pastor of the Pentecostal Church in Memphis, Missouri officiating. Music will be special selections of "Roses Will Bloom Again", "Home Where I Belong", "Silent Night" and "I'll Meet You In The Morning" and will be provided by Rick and Ruth Addison and Theresa Powless. Pallbearers will be Dakota Peterson, Austin Peterson, Pat Yearns, Aaron Yearns, Kelly Yearns and Kent Dierling. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the family to be designated at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Burial will be in the Fabius Cemetery, east of Lancaster, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
