The daughter of Herbert Glen and Wilma June (Dalton) Garrett, she was born on August 29, 1947 in Kirksville, Missouri. She was a graduate of the Downing High School in Downing, Missouri.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Bishop and wife, Vicky of Las Vegas, Nevada and Michael Bishop and wife, Nicole of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, Brandon Robinson, Haydin Bishop, Evan Bishop and Jasmine Bishop all of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Loyd Garrett and wife, Maxine of Camdenton, Missouri and Lyle Garrett and wife, Lana of Harrisburg, Missouri; one sister, Carol Seamster of Downing, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Barbara Garrett of Moberly, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and other family members.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Glen Garrett; one brother-in-law, Charles Seamster and one niece, Shelly Shern.
Nancy was a true one-of-a-kind class act, always taking pride in her love and devotion towards her family, her personal appearance and sense of self-worth, and all while managing her professional career as a housekeeping executive at the Mirage in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a truly loving mother to her two sons, instrumental in the growth of the respectable men they are today. Her grandchildren were the true loves of her life, even throughout her declining health, she shared love and smiles with them every second she could. There will never be another like her, but let everyone not be sad by her passing, but rejoiceful as God now has another amazing angel by his side.
