Mildred (Millie) Josphine Erwin
January 29, 1932 - April 19, 2015
Mildred J. Erwin, 83 of Mitchellville, Iowa, formerly of Downing, Missouri passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Mitchell Nursing Home in Mitchellville, Iowa.
The daughter of Arthur R. and Allie Bell (Marsh) Turnipseed, she was born on January 29, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Floyd W. Erwin in February 1980 and they made their home in Downing, Missouri.
Survivors include her children, Claudine Mesecher and husband, Robert of Des Moines, Iowa and John Arthur Moss of Woodland, Texas; two grandchildren, Nathan Duzenberry of Des Moines, Iowa, Chris Duzenberry and wife, Terry of Vancouver, Canada; four great grandchildren, Jonathan Duzenberry, Ariana Duzenberry, Analise Duzenberry and Gabriella Duzenberry and other family members.
Millie is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Floyd W. Erwin on April 4, 2004.
Millie enjoyed her pets, her coffee latte, antiques and her "outings" with her friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with David Barton of Memphis, Missouri officiating. Pianist, Arleta Dye will perform special selections of "How Great Thou Art" and "The Old Rugged Cross". Pallbearers will be Jonathan Duzenberry, Nathan Duzenberry, Steve Tucker, Robert Burden, David E. Burden and David Barton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
