Matthew Seth Roberts

Matthew Seth Roberts, 61 of Queen City, Missouri passed away at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.
The son of Kenneth Lee and Marjorie Jane (Henshaw) Roberts, he was born on August 10, 1954 in Kirksville, Missouri. Matt was a 1972 graduate of the Schuyler R-I High School in Lancaster, Missouri and was also a graduate of Northeast Missouri State University with a bachelors degree in Agriculture Science.
Survivors include his children, Matthew Dakota Roberts of Lancaster, Missouri and Ray'Ven Ales Roberts of Lancaster, Missouri; one grandson, Cash Roberts of Kirksville, Missouri; two brothers, Kenneth Paul Roberts and wife Barb of Princeton, Missouri and Larry Lee Roberts and wife, Nancy of Kirksville, Missouri and one sister, Lynne Roberts of St. Louis, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and other family members including Kay Miller who was always there for Matt.
Matt is preceded in death by his parents.
Matt was a member of the Queen City Baptist Church of Queen City, Missouri where he also served as a Deacon. He was also employed with the US Postal System working in the Bloomfield Post Office as a mail carrier for thirty-three years.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Queen City Baptist Church in Queen City, Missouri with Pastor Robert Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Joyce Groom, pianist and Danielle Bair, soloist performing special selections of "It Is Well With My Soul" and "I Can Only Imagine". Pallbearers will be Fred Lanham, Marc Dabney, Russell Melvin, Spencer Nagel, Tyler Roberts and Gary Stump. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 between the hours of 6-8:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for Matt's Children Education or to the Queen City Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri.
