Mary Maude Schubert

Mary Maude Schubert, 80 of rural Queen City, Missouri passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
The daughter of Ernest and Thelma (Lamb) Camden, she was born on May 6, 1935 in Glenwood, Missouri. She was a graduate of the Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Missouri. On December 9, 1954 at the Glenwood Methodist Church in Glenwood, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Donald Edwin Schubert.
Survivors include 2 sons, Henry Schubert and wife, Marcia of Lancaster, Missouri and Edwin "Goob" Schubert and wife, Lillie of Queen City, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Tucker Schubert, Shelbie Schubert, Laynee Schubert and Brad Shrouf; 1 sister-in-law, Rosabel Bushnell and husband, Russell of Queen City, Missouri; 1 nephew, Mark Bushnell and family of Queen City, Missouri; other family members and many good friends.
Her parents and her husband, Donald Edwin Schubert on September 29, 2007, precede Mary in death.
Mary was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church where she attended faithfully and was also a member of the St. John's Ladies Aide. Mary was an instrumental part in the Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance Food Room, which she enjoyed very much.
Mary and Don were well known livestock farmers in the rural Queen City, Missouri area all of their lives where they were willing neighbors to always lend a hand if needed.
Mary loved her family and especially her grandchildren! She treasured the time she was able to spend with them especially following them to their activities whether it be a sports or 4-H event.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. John's Lutheran Church with Bill Iammatteo-Code, Pastor of the St. John's Lutheran Church assisted by Sonny Smyser, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith officiating. Music will be provided by organist, Pat Swedberg and pianist, Karmen Burt. Pallbearers will be Mark Bushnell, Danny Murphy, Ashley Bulechek, Jesse Moore, Ryan Bushnell and Kevin Lovekamp. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell and Rosabel Bushnell, Gilbert Schmitter, Pat Swedberg, Delores McElroy, Ed and Dorothy McElroy, Donald Snowbarger and many, many others. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the St. John's Lutheran Church or to the Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance Food Room. Burial will be in the Germania Cemetery.
