Martha Ann (Beeler) Duley, 78 of Moulton, Iowa passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Savannah Heights Nursing Home in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
The daughter of Okley Otto and Mary Madaliene (Moore) Beeler, she was born on February 5, 1946 in Lancaster, Missouri and was a graduate from Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Missouri. Martha was united in marriage to Glen Dale Duley on October 18, 1969 at the Lancaster Christian Church in Lancaster, Missouri and to this union one daughter was born, Megan. Martha and Glen made their home in Moulton, Iowa and were married for 55 years.
Left to cherish her memory includes her husband, Glen Duley of Moulton, Iowa; one daughter, Megan Turner and husband, Doug of Douds, Iowa; five grandchildren, Emily Brown, Jade Brown, Bryce Brown, Trenton Turner and Taylor Turner; two brothers, Ron Beeler and wife, Mary Ellen of Union, Missouri and Rick Beeler and wife, Patricia of Minooka, Illinois; two sisters-in-law, Jean Beeler of Omaha, Nebraska and Judith Duley of Chillicothe, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and many good friends.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Tony Beeler.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Martha loved children and enjoyed her career as a teacher. She valued education, graduating with her teaching degree from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa with a 4.0 grade point average and Summa Cum Laude with a Gold Seal honor. She returned to obtain her master's degree from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin graduating with honors. Martha specialized in teaching 6th grade special education and worked for the Centerville Community School District before retiring in 2012.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with John Wilbur, Pastor of the Fairfield Friends Church in Fairfield, Iowa officiating. Memorials in Martha's honor may be left to Every Step Hospice or the family and may be mailed to 14212 205th Rd, Douds, Iowa 52551. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Burial will be Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Sunset View Cemetery in Moulton, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
