Marie Teresa Wineinger, 82 of Downing, Missouri passed away at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri on Monday, April 14, 2014.
The daughter of Orninifia and Frieda (Catenzaro) Miano, Marie was born on May 31, 1931 in Cook County, Illinois. She was united in marriage to Charles Franklin Wineinger on April 16, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois and to this union 5 children were born. Following approximately a two-year stay in the Chicago, Illinois area, Charles and Marie moved to Missouri in 1952.
Marie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Franklin Wineinger, Sr. of Downing, Missouri; her children, Charles Franklin Wineinger, Jr. and wife, Brooke of Memphis, Missouri and Susan Oliver and husband, Bert of Lancaster, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Nikki Long and husband, Eric of Memphis, Missouri, Kendi Bradley and husband, Derek of Downing, Missouri, Kalibe Oliver of Lancaster, Missouri and friend Acacia Bulechek and Valeree Oliver of Memphis, Missouri; 5 great grandchildren, Afton and Addison Spray of Memphis, Missouri, Emit Long of Memphis, Missouri and Carly and Camry Bradley of Downing, Missouri; 1 sister, Edith LaManna and husband, Charley of Chicago, Illinois; other family members and good friends.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Carmella Serio, Riz Ingraffia, Joe Miano, Senior and Loreta Martelli.
Following their move from Chicago, Illinois to Downing, Missouri, Charles and Marie moved to a farm east of Downing, Missouri where they lived until 1975 when they moved into Downing, Missouri. Marie was also employed as a Ward Clerk at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri for a number of years.
Charles and Marie were avid readers, enjoyed playing Bingo at the Schuyler County Nutrition Site, deer hunters and loved to fish for crappie as they both enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. As long as their health permitted, they were able to spend approximately 20 years during the winter months in Titusville, Florida. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother!
