Lowell Edmond Beeler

Lowell Edmond Beeler, 87 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri on Monday, August 19, 2013.

The son of Malcolm Everett and Viola (Dellinger) Beeler, he was born on March 15, 1926 in Lancaster, Missouri. On February 15, 1942 in Lancaster, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Authrine Burgher and to this union 2 children were born, Nancy and James.

Survivors include his wife, Authrine Beeler of Lancaster, Missouri; his children, Nancy Kerby of Lancaster, Missouri and James Beeler and wife, Nancy of Warsaw, Indiana; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Charles Beeler and wife, Marilee of Lancaster, Missouri and 1 sister, Violet Smoot of Quincy, Illinois; other family members and many good friends.

Lowell is preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers, Tony, Loyal, Okley, Virgil, Homer and Robert; 1 sister, Jewell Roberts.

Lowell served his country in the United States Army during World War II and was honorably discharged. Lowell was called to preach in 1961 and continued to preach until he was 86 years of age.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Reverend Preston Smith and Reverend William Hayton officiating. Music will be provided by Cheryl Williams who will be performing "In The Garden". Pallbearers will be Scott Beeler, Rudy Beeler, Jack Beeler, Dick Adkins, Ronnie Beeler and Jeff Williams. Memorials have been established for the Church of God (Holiness) in Kirksville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri.
