Larry Paul Ross, 65 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026 at his home.

The son of Billy Paul and Barbara June (McNary) Ross, he was born on November 18, 1960 in Adair County, Missouri. He graduated high school in St. Louis, Missouri. August 1987 in Lancaster, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Felicia Shively and to this union one child was born, Adrian.

Larry is survived by his parents, Billy Paul Ross and wife, Carol of Dahlonega, Georgia and Barbara Ross of Queen City, Missouri; one son, Adrian Ross and significant other, Angela Dyer of Glenwood, Missouri; one granddaughter, Gracelynn Ross of Glenwood, Missouri; one sister, Tammy Whitworth of Queen City, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Eileen Bradley of Kirksville, Missouri, Sharon McDowell of Ankeny, Iowa, Beatrice Fugate of Downing, Missouri, Jimmy McNary and wife, Ina Mae of Lancaster, Missouri and Betty Jo Purvis of Sedalia, Missouri; nephews, Chuck Whitworth of St. Louis, Missouri and Bryan Whitworth of LaPlata, Missouri; cousins, Rick Fugate and wife, Teena of Queen City, Missouri, Bill Fugate and wife, Lisa of Lancaster, Missouri, David Fugate and wife, Karen of Downing, Missouri, Jason McNary and wife, Melody of Bloomfield, Iowa, Jesse McNary and wife, Jennifer of Lancaster, Missouri and Jennifer Schoonover and husband, Kent of Mendota, Missouri; other family members and many good friends.

Larry is preceded in death by uncles, Gilbert Bradley, Larry McDowell, Robert Fugate and Rick Purvis and one brother-in-law, Charles Francis Whitworth Jr.

Larry took pride in owning and operating Lancaster Custom Body Works in Lancaster, Missouri for 38 years and was in the used car sales and body work business for 42 years. He enjoyed spending time at estate auctions and spoiling his granddaughter, Gracelynn.

Funeral services will be held at a later date as the body has been cremated. Memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Nutrition Site.
