Larry "Crash" Dean Lasley, 72 of Moulton, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at his home in Moulton, Iowa.

The son of John Harold Lasley and Betty (Dotson) Chance, he was born on September 11, 1951 in Peoria, Illinois.  He attended Schuyler R-I Schools in Lancaster, Missouri.

On August 4, 1971, he was united in marriage to Linda Lou Archer in Lancaster, Missouri and to this union three children were born, Sherri, Valleri and Richard.

Larry is survived by his mother, Betty Chance of Columbia, Missouri; children, Sherri Amsbary and fiancé, Tony Perez of Waterloo, Iowa, Valleri Lasley of Moulton, Iowa and Richard Lasley and wife, Jerilyn of Moulton, Iowa; five grandchildren, Samantha Lasley, Sierra and Shannon Hopwood, Ashlyn and Clayton Lasley; four great grandchildren, Logan Lasley, Briggs Johnson and Daphnee and Lainee Vaughn; two sisters, Linda Lake of Kirksville, Missouri and Janet Hetzler and husband David of Columbia, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Marty Archer and wife, Lisa of Kirksville, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Vickie Blew and husband, Donnie of Moulton, Iowa and Theresa Archer of Moulton, Iowa; nieces and nephews; other family members and many good friends.

Larry is preceded by his father; his wife, Linda on May 9, 2021 and one brother-in-law, Roy "Nub" Lake.

Larry was always happy with an old car or motor. He was known for saying, "All you need are three wires to make it run"!

Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, northwest of Glenwood, Missouri on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at the Crossline Center in Moulton, Iowa.  Officiating the burial will be Sonny Smyser, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith in Lancaster, Missouri.  Memorials have been established for the family.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.. Arrangements are under the direction of Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
