Kenneth Lee Golden

December 21, 1948 – May 8, 2026

Kenneth Lee Golden, 77 of Glenwood, Missouri passed away on May 8, 2026 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri.

The son of George Waylon Golden and Mary Helen Rhoades, he was born on December 21, 1948 in Edina, Missouri.  He was united in marriage to Judi Jackson and to this union two children were born, Gunner and Augusta.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Gunner Golden and wife, Janelle of Trenton, Missouri and Augusta Golden of Glenwood, Missouri; nieces, nephews and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda Golden.

Kenneth served in the United States Army where he did one tour in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge, Kenneth was employed as an EMT, a respiratory therapist, worked for the City of Lancaster and later worked with Jamie Jackson at the Senior Housing in Lancaster, Missouri as a contractor.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 between the hours of 6:00 p.m.  and 8:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.  Memorials have been established for the family to be designated at a later date with checks made payable to Gunner Golden. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.  Burial will be on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
