Juanita Faye Morrison

August 30, 1930 – September 1, 2020

Juanita Faye Morrison, 90 of Peoria, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Lacon Rehab and Nursing in Lacon, Illinois.  She was born on August 30, 1930 in Coatsville, Missouri to the late Lawrence and Maggie (Stot) Dotson.

Juanita is survived by her son, Michael (Gail) Guilfoyle of rural Lowpoint, Illinois; daughter, Marilyn (Paul Petrakis) Thompson of Bartonville, Illinois; sister, Betty Chance of Coatsville, Missouri; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Morrison; granddaughter, Sarah Guilfoyle and seven brothers, John, James, Gene, Glen, Bob, Lloyd and Richard Dotson

Along with her duties as a wife, mother and devoted grandmother, Juanita worked at numerous jobs outside the home, the last being in the gift shop at the Greater Peoria Airport.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Lacon Rehab and Nursing Activity Fund.
