Joan (Dean) Webster, 91 of Queen City, formerly of Glenwood, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
The daughter of Leo Vicq and Mabel Louise (Snowbarger) Dean, she was born on October 27, 1934 in Coatsville, Missouri. She was a 1953 graduate of Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Missouri. On April 10, 1955 at the L.V. Dean home, she was united in marriage to Thomas Edward Webster and to this union, four children were born, Debbie, Pam, Janice and Tom Jr.
Joan is survived by her children, Debbie Colton and husband, Tim of Coatsville, Missouri, Pam Webster of Mission, Kansas, Janice Gravett and husband, Dennis of Glenwood, Missouri and Tom Webster Jr. of Lancaster, Missouri; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, her twin, Joyce Reynolds of Lancaster, Missouri and Dorothy Starrett of Queen City, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; other family members and many good friends.
Joan is preceded by her parents; husband, Tommy Webster on February 18, 2002; siblings, Mary Ballew, Lois Chalupa, Kathryn Offerman, David Dean, Charles Dean, Ruth Sidwell, Tom Dean, Bonnie Jackson, Leo Vernon Dean, Eidson Dean, Warren Dean, Bill Dean, Lena Mae Dean, Margaret Elizabeth Dean, and Ethel Clark.
Joan was a school teacher and was very proud of her accomplishments. After meeting her husband, she decided to be a homemaker and raise her family. Joan and Tommy owned and operated Arrowhead Café in Lancaster, Missouri for a number of years and they were also antique dealers, selling antiques all over the United States.
