Jack Calvin Stoddard III

May 13, 1956 – September 22, 2020

Jack Calvin Stoddard III, 64 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The son of James Stoddard II and Betty Jean (Whitehead) Stoddard, Jack was born on May 13, 1956 in Jacksonville, Florida.  On September 9, 2017 in Lancaster, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Jacki Ellen Whicker and to this union two daughters were born, Areanna and Adreanna Stoddard.

Jack is survived by his wife, Jacki Stoddard of Lancaster, Missouri; his children, Jack Calvin Stoddard IV and wife, Amber of West Grove, Iowa, Jewels Flaker of Louisville, Kentucky, Haven Stoddard of Memphis, Missouri, Areanna and Adreanna Stoddard of Lancaster, Missouri; several grandchildren; one sister, Juanita Kelly of Arkansas; three sisters-in-law, Nikki Hutt and husband, Waylon of Iowa, Amanda Knapp of Lovilia, Iowa and Jewel Whicker of Missouri; three brothers-in-law, Jerry Whicker of Glenwood, Missouri, Jamie Whicker and wife, Patricia of Baring, Missouri and James Whicker of Oskaloosa, Iowa; mother-in-law, Phyllis Whicker of Glenwood, Missouri; father-in-law, Jerry Knapp and wife, Karen of Lovilia, Iowa; nieces, nephews and other family members.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Rhonda Stoddard and one brother, JoJo Stoddard.

Jack received an Honorable Discharge from the Coast Guard where he served from 1974 until 1978.  The first two years were spent in Lighthouse duty followed by two more years on Search and Rescue.  Jack was a painter of all trades where he painted for industrial, residential, and commercial businesses as long as his health permitted.
