Inez Raye (Knowles) Stewart
August 9, 1949 – January 15, 2015

Inez Raye (Knowles) Stewart, 65 of Coatsville, Missouri passed away at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri on Thursday, January 15, 2015.

The daughter of Joseph and Jessie Marie (Scott) Hurt, Inez was born on August 9, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Jessie Delbert Stewart on August 12, 1967 in Putnam County, Missouri and to this union 2 children were born, Michael Lee and Jessie Marie.

Survivors include her husband, Jessie Delbert Stewart of Coatsville, Missouri; 2 children, Michael Lee Stewart and wife, Ellie of DeRidder, Louisana and Jessie Marie Stewart of Coatsville, Missouri; grandchildren, Jennifer and Sara Stewart of DeRidder, Louisana, Broden White of Coatsville, Missouri, Noria and Annileigh Rosales of Coatsville, Missouri and Isabella White of Milan, Missouri; 3 brothers, Keith Laverna Knowles and wife, Mary of Livonia, Missouri, Harry James White and wife, Latreasa of Glenwood, Missouri and James Archer White and wife, Theresa of Selma, Iowa; one half sister, Jodie Street and husband, Donnie; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

Inez is preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, James Archer White; one brother, Jesse Milton Knowles; one sister, Martha Jane White and one half brother, David Hurt.

Inez and Delbert were foster parents and have had many children to care for during their time as foster parents. They have provided a loving and warm home for each and every foster child that has been in their care.

Burial will be at a later date as Inez's wishes were to be cremated and a family gathering to be held to celebrate her life. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
