Frankie Gene Grogan, 81 of Livonia, Missouri passed away at the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
The son of Darl Frank and Pansy Thelma (Hinnerman) Grogan, he was born on June 16, 1944 in Unionville, Missouri. He was a 1962 graduate of Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Missouri. On November 24, 1973 at the Methodist Church in Centerville, Iowa, he was united in marriage to Margaret Ruth Fenton and to this union one daughter, Robin was born.
Frankie is survived by his wife, Marge of Livonia, Missouri; one daughter, Robin Bennett and husband, Tom of Kearney, Missouri; two grandchildren, Joel Bennett of Kearney, Missouri and his friend, Adri and Kylee Bennett and significant other, Tyler Craigg of Lawson, Missouri; one great grandson, Wyatt Cole Craigg of Lawson, Missouri; nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Kurt Grogan and wife, Andrea of Lancaster, Missouri; one brother, Jerry Grogan and wife, Betty of Kearney, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Glenys Bolin and husband Doran of Ottumwa, Iowa, Marlys Ragan and special friend, Don of Moravia, Iowa and Sandy Conn and husband, Joe of Centerville, Iowa; other special nieces and nephews, family members and many good friends.
Frankie is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Darlene Tipton and husband, Loy Junior and Joan Ray and husband, Joe.
Frankie was a member of Eagles Club. He spent many years working and retired from JI Case as a warehouse parts puller. He was later employed for 5 years as a janitor at Schuyler R-1 Schools. Frankie and Marge dedicated 21 years putting together a large Christmas lights display every year for the community to drive through and enjoy at their home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Hartford Baptist Church in Putnam County, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Grant Township Fire Department, Livonia, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
