Frank Val Fabyanic, 62 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at the Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri on Wednesday, August 30, 2017.

The son of Frank Valentine and Lula Maye (Pendleton) Fabyanic, he was born on September 14, 1954 in Rolla, Missouri. He was a graduate of the Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri. On April 7, 1974, he was united in marriage to Sheryl Jean Pruner at the Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, Missouri with Reverend James Ingersoll officiating and to this union two daughters were born, Mary Elizabeth and Rachel Lynn.

Val is survived by his wife, Sheryl Jean Fabyanic of Lancaster, Missouri; two daughters, Mary Fabyanic of Chillicothe, Missouri and Rachel Sly and husband, James Robert of Lancaster, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Falicity Valentine, Mirianna Vahn, Jameson Blake and Liam Xzavier Sly all of Lancaster, Missouri; one sister, Susan Kathaleen Foster and husband, David of Lone Jack, Missouri; three sisters-in-law and their husbands; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

Val is preceded in death by his parents and his parents-in-law, John and Zelpha Pruner.

Val was a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, Missouri for 43 years. He worked for 23 years for the Shoe Factory in Kirksville, Missouri and 11 years at Cargill in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Val enjoyed hunting, purchasing guns, working in the garden and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his entire family especially the grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, Missouri with Lonnie Johnson, Pastor of the Lancaster Baptist Church officiating. Music will be special CD selections of "The Lighthouse" and "Daddy's Hands". Pallbearers will be James Sly, James Welte, John Welte, Maverick Welte, Devon Humiston, Charlie Ferdig, David Foster and Jaron Humiston. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Helton, Steve Humiston, David Ruggles, Danny Charles Welte, Leon Walter, Jr. and Ben Pendleton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials have been established for the family. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com.
