Frances Louise (Ford) Harris
October 20, 1925 - April 8, 2015

Frances Louise (Ford) Harris, 89 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

The daughter of Frank and Grace Marie (Camden) Ford, she was born on October 20, 1925 in rural Glenwood, Missouri. On July 27, 1947 in Kirksville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles Edwin Harris and to this union two daughters, Nancy and Judy, were born.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Miller and husband, Jim of Bloomfield, Iowa and Judy West and husband, John of Lancaster, Missouri; four grandchildren, Megan Saffell (Todd) of Bloomfield, Iowa, Chris West (Kristina Miller) of Lancaster, Missouri, Kimberly Boyd (Kevin) of Jefferson City, Missouri and Kirk West (Alisha) of Lancaster, Missouri; five great grandchildren, Calvin and Libby Saffell of Bloomfield, Iowa, Peyton and Owen Boyd of Jefferson City, Missouri, Mikel West of Lancaster, Missouri and two on the way; three step great grandchildren, Chelsea and Marcus Miller of Lancaster, Missouri and Kinley Walter of Kirksville, Missouri; two brothers-in law, Robert Harris and wife, Camille of Bowling Green, Ohio and Howard Harris and wife, Shirley of Glenwood, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Mary Lucille Cramer and husband, Harold of Marion, Iowa; nieces and nephews and other family members.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie on March 30, 2012; two sisters, Hazel Marie Kimbrell and Valena Edmonds and one brother, Paul Ford.

Frances was a charter member of the Friendship Community Church of Lancaster, Missouri where she attended faithfully as long as her health permitted.

Frances and Eddie farmed all of their married life east of Lancaster, Missouri raising Angus cattle. She worked in patient care and food services for a number of years and enjoyed it very much. Her hobbies included puzzles and gardening.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Jon Mark Trammel of Glenwood, Missouri officiating. Music will be provided by Twila Aeschliman, pianist and Cole Tippett, soloist. Special musical selections will be "Lily of the Valley" and "In The Garden". Pallbearers will be Chris West, Kirk West, Todd Saffell, Kevin Boyd, Gary Kimbrell and Faron Mullinix. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.. Memorials have been established for the Scotland County Residential Care Facilities. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri.
