Dennis Lee Collis

November 2, 1948 – November 10, 2020

Dennis Lee Collis, 72 of Queen City, Missouri passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

The son of Troy Emmett and Hazel Lee (McCartney) Collis, he was born on November 2, 1948 in Lancaster, Missouri.   He was a graduate of the Queen City High School in Queen City, Missouri.  Following his graduation, he was inducted into the United States Army on October 30, 1968 and served until July 31, 1970 receiving an honorable discharge.

Dennis is survived by children, Daniel, Levi and Dennis Collis all out of the area; brothers and sisters, Paul A. Collis and wife, Mary Jo of Queen City, Missouri, Helen Oliver of Queen City, Missouri, Viola Beal of Queen City, Missouri, Ellie Ann Guilford and husband, Ralph of Brookfield, Missouri, John Collis and wife, Marge of Brookfield, Missouri, Anna Groseclose and husband, Stephen of Lancaster, Missouri and Michael Collis of Brookfield, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and five brothers, Marvin Eugene Collis, Karol Lee Collis, Troy E. Collis, Jr., Oliver Collis, and Joseph F. Collis.

As per Dennis' wishes, he has been cremated and there will be no services at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
