Daniel Roger Blaine

May 18, 1945 – March 22, 2019

Daniel Roger Blaine, 73 of Greentop, Missouri passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family, after suffering many years from Parkinson's Disease.

Roger was the son of Nelson and Lillie Mae (Wright) Blaine, he was born on May 18, 1945 in rural Bible Grove, Missouri.   On July 25, 1969, he was united in marriage to Mary Lou Neil.

Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Blaine of Greentop, Missouri; one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Kendra Blaine of Greentop, Missouri; three grandchildren, Warren, Avril and Vaden Blaine of Greentop, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Opal Blaine of Rutledge Missouri and three nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Rosco Blaine and one six-year-old brother, Raymond Blaine.

Roger attended Scotland County High School and was employed by Carl A. Nelson Construction for several years, until failing health.

Roger enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He was very fond of his horses.  He broke and trained horses for several years and was active in trail riding, until his health failed.
