Billy T. Shaw, 85 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, Missouri.

The son of Ralph Elmer and Golda Ida (Tallman) Shaw, he was born on April 17, 1929 in Centerville, Iowa. On April 10, 1952 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, he was united in marriage to Ruth Mae Seibert and to this union 4 children were born, Rodney, Randy, Richard and Robin.

Billy is survived by his children, Rodney Shaw and wife, Sharron of Mt. Hope, Kansas, Randy Shaw and wife, Teresa of Lancaster, Missouri, Richard Wade Shaw and wife, Janice of Glenwood, Missouri and Robin Seppelt and husband, Dave of Memphis, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 2 brothers, Burl Shaw of Downing, Missouri and Jim Shaw and wife, Carol of Macon, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth on July 3, 1996; 4 brothers, Buel Shaw, Ralph Shaw Junior, Sherril Shaw and Richard Shaw who died in infancy and 1 sister, Eileen Thrasher..

Billy and Ruth made their home in the Glenwood vicinity most of their married life. He was a well-known sheep sheerer for a number of years.

Memorials services will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Sonny Smyser, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith in Lancaster, Missouri officiating. Special CD musical selections of "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "When I Get Where I'm Going" will be performed. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial services between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Glenwood Cemetery. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood, Missouri.
