Barbara Ann (Smith) Crump
January 6, 1925 – February 8, 2017

Barbara Ann (Smith) Crump, 92 of Queen City, Missouri formerly of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

The adopted daughter of Mary L. Smith, she was born on January 6, 1925. On December 16, 1943 in Glenwood, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Boyd Hollis Crump and to this union seven children were born, Hollis, Robert Eugene, Jeff, Bonnie, Polly Anna, Joy Lynn and Melissa Ann.

Survivors include her children, Jeff Crump and wife, Jacquelyn of Shawnee, Kansas; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other family members.

Barbara is preceded in death by her adopted mother; her husband, Boyd on January 2, 1994; two sons, Hollis (Pedro) Crump and Robert Eugene Crump; four daughters, Bonnie Taylor, Polly Anna Crump, Joy Lynn Crump and Melissa Ann Frederick; two grandsons, Nathaniel Frederick and Brandon Crump and one foster brother, Floyd Taylor.

Barbara was a homemaker, taking care of her family. She enjoyed every situation and handled it with love and compassion. Through this love and compassion, she set an example for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Sonny Smyser, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith in Lancaster, Missouri officiating. Music will be special CD selections of "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art". Pallbearers will be Jeff Crump, Cody Crump, Jacob Crump, Josh Frederick, Mike Frederick and Gareth Frederick. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri.
