Anna Chrishna (Collis) Groseclose, 70 of rural Lancaster, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
The daughter of Troy Emmett and Hazel Lee (McCartney) Collis, she was born on January 8, 1956 in Kirksville, Missouri. Anna attended school in Queen City, Missouri. On December 11, 1972 in Oquawka, Illinois she was united in marriage to Stephen Dwayne Groseclose and they were blessed with four children, Terry, Stephanie, Kipton and Keawna.
Anna is survived by her husband, Steve Groseclose of Lancaster, Missouri; children, Terry Groseclose and wife, Vicki of Lancaster, Missouri, Stephanie Graves and husband, Jamie of Queen City, Missouri, Kipton Groseclose and wife, Breeanna of LaBelle, Missouri and Keawna Farris and significant other, Stephen McFarland of Kirksville, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Michael Collis and wife, Amanda of Brookfield, Missouri, Paul A. Collis and wife, Mary Jo of Queen City, Missouri, Helen Oliver of Queen City, Missouri, Viola Beal of Queen City, Missouri and Ella Ann Guildford and husband, Ralph of Brookfield, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Sally Collis of Kennett, Missouri; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild, Autumn Groseclose; one great grandchild, Ember Pitt; siblings, Karol Lee Collis, Troy E. Collis Jr., Oliver Collis, Marvin Eugene Collis, Dennis Lee Collis, Joseph F. Collis and John Collis and wife, Marge.
Anna and Steve served as foster parents to many children for 10 plus years. She was a cook at local restaurants working for Mary Beeler and Bill and Rita Brunk just to name a few. She enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Anna was baptized at the Schuyler County Church of Faith and was a member there. She attended as long as her health permitted.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Bob Baker, Pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith in Lancaster, Missouri officiating. Music will be special selections of "Angels Among Us," "That's What Mamas Are For" and "In The Garden." Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the family. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by logging on to normanfh.com. Burial will be at a later date as the body will be cremated after the services. Arrangements are under the direction of Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri.
